Once you have decided to participate in the program, you will choose an agent and contact the toll-free number on the site to start the program. You can also call the toll free number to just learn more about the program, and get assistance with choosing a real estate agent.
In order to receive the rebate, you must work with one of the real estate agents on the program. Your real estate agent will help you find potential homes, set up showings, and assist with the closing. Once you have decided on a home to purchase, you will receive your rebate check at closing for up to 1% of the value of the home. If you buy and sell your home through the program, you can receive up to a 2% rebate in the form of a check that will be presented at closing.
